I get my first shot at going after a Wheel of Fortune Jackpot at the Venetian Las Vegas. I’m back in Vegas, BABY!! Oh how missed this city! It’s been over 20 years since I’ve been here. While raising an amazing kid who started college, and working as a teacher aide Vegas was never far from my mind.
In this video, it is our first time back and our flight came in late at around 11:30pm. By the time we checked into our hotel at Treasure Island and cleaned up a bit we were starving!!! We quickly walked to the Venetian Grand Luxe Café and first order of business was to eat. I was so hungry for a burger. I regret not taking a photo of it. Daniel, out ordered me with his pasta dish. His serving was HUGE and since we were going to play the slots afterwards, sadly we had to leave it behind.
By this time it is 2:30 in the morning. I was wide awake. Daniel was struggling and wanted to go to sleep but ain’t no way! We’re in Vegas!! He gathered his second wind to go with me to play the game we always talked about, Wheel of Fortune. I could hardly contain my excitement. The energy in the Venetian Casino was unreal. There were sooo many people there!!! I was shocked to see how many people were out at that hour. Just goes to show how long it’s been since I’ve been there.
We looked everywhere for one game, Wheel of Fortune. It was amazing to be in a chair in front of the slot machine. I was overjoyed and clapped like a two year old. I loved every spin of the wheel I won. I started out with putting in $20 and went through that pretty quick. Adding another $20 because I like a challenge lol. I was starting to get discouraged. I really wanted that wheel a fortune spin. I started to get happy again when I won 40 credits getting my money back. As I kept playing, I could hear other players win the wheel in the background. I honestly couldn’t help but get frustrated. The small wins kept me in the game. Plus, I had the peanut gallery in my ear, Mr. Daniel egging me on. I honestly felt like the game hated me. Finally, the three free spins line up and I win 65 credits. The day is starting to wear on me and I win more spins and win 75 credits. I felt drunk but I was just sleep deprived. I wouldn’t do it any other way 🙌🏽 Let’ssssss goooooooo!!!
