Reddit got it right! Thank you to the people who added their two cents about everything. Daniel and I have always wanted to attend a show. Which one though?? There are so many and let’s face it it’s not cheap. So it’s best to find one that is going to leave a lasting memory. In this case, I turned to Reddit to help me out. I did a quick search about Vegas shows and the Reddit audience gave their opinion. The same show in most peoples top three was the Caesars Palace show, Absinthe. Literally everyone raved about this one show. The best part was not everyone was giving it away. The main comment that kept coming up was that the Masters of Ceremonies will tease you and ask for volunteers to come up on stage if you sit close to the stage.
The actual show is not inside Caesar’s Palace, it’s in a circus like tent outside of the casino called Spiegelworld. When I originally looked at buying the tickets and looked at the seats it seems huge but it’s actually not as big as you think. It’s a very intimate seating. The chairs are very random looking and not the most comfortable but the entertainment was so spectacular that you completely forget. The performance artist have incredible talent. I know what you’re thinking most of the shows have incredible talented performers. However, what made the experience jaw dropping was the performers did it all on a small, movable stage in the center of the tent. I think that impressed me the most.
The highlight of the show were the Masters of Ceremonies and his sidekick, Wendy. She was adorable and hilarious!! Her quick wit with the come backs were impressive. Our seats were behind her so we hardly saw her face so that says a lot about her performance and personality.
This was of course our first Las Vegas Show and it will be difficult to top. I highly recommend this show for all ages 21 +.
